Front desk immediately started harassing me about everything. From parking, to the reservation, to the room I requested... It was insane! Ended up not staying, but the process to get it out of the hotels.com reservation was just as bad, if not worse!! That was a customer service nightmare!

The room very clean and the staff was very helpful. It was New Year’s Eve and he waited for me to check in before he left to celebrate. I definitely recommend staying here especially for solo travelers. Arches national park is like a 15 minute drive away.

The info listed about this place is deceptive. It said free breakfast when I booked, and was charged accordingly, then it was changed to no breakfast in winter - but I never got notified. The breakfast was the only reason I switched from another hotel with better reviews, so I'm pretty sure what it said at booking. When I checked in and asked about the breakfast, the front desk staff had a cold and none-of-my-business attitude, almost sarcastic. I booked refundable rooms with multiple nights but was not allowed to cancel the later nights. One of the fridges was not working and they didn't do anything. Some of the nearby hotels were packed with guests, while this one only had a couple. It's a reflection of how people are treated here.

Very bad house keeping. My booking was 11/23/25 room 201. My bathroom sink clogged at my first use. Hair dryer is not working. They have supper duty common microwaves and no private microwaves. Never recommend go ho back again.

The room was clean but pretty rundown with few amenities. I was mostly frustrated that the booking advertised a continental breakfast yet there was a sign at the front desk saying that they had stopped serving breakfast 4 days before our stay. That just seemed a little deceitful.

The room was old & tired. Didn’t seem or smell very clean. Bathroom had paint flaking off in the shower. Door to hallway let in a lot of noise, we could hear every conversation as people walked by. One really nice thing was the fancy lighted mirror in the bathroom (I would give that 5 stars). Breakfast was super basic—cereal, plain bagels, plain toast, yogurt. No fruit, no oatmeal, no proteins at all not even a hard boiled egg. I know it was the cheaper option in town, I guess I shouldn’t have been so surprised at the condition.

The manager (owner?) greeted me and was genuine and very pleasant when I was checking in. He was informative. I can tell he is working hard to make people feel welcome and comfortable. I can see that he has made some nice physical improvements in the rooms. My only constructive criticism, for Gateway and other motels who offer free breakfast, a couple more food options would be nice and a focus on healthy food is always nice. Thank you. I wish the manager/owner and his family well. Bill
