This is an older, very basic Motel 6, but the staff was friendly, everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. It could use some remodeling but definitely a clean room to lay your head

The staff at check-in and check out were friendly. The room was very clean and simple, which was welcoming with a dog friendly budget motel. The area even felt safe. I will definitely use this as a place to stop in Missoula.

If you are looking for just a comfortable bed with no amenities, this is your property. Great value for high summer months. I thought beds were comfortable, and room was clean. Zero amenities, not even shampoo or hairdryer, but that was OK with us. Easy walking distance to downtown. Worth the money for sure!

Motel 6 University is a basic motel. Towels and soap are provided. Shampoo, lotion, etc are available for purchase. No breakfast (several restaurants close by). The room is clean, quiet and comfortable. The mattresses are not high quality but are okay. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It is a lower cost motel, which is appreciated.

Please note that this property does NOT accept cats. I may have missed that when booking and then found out at check-in. The employee made an error and the manager ultimately allowed us to stay with our cat.
