6 day vacation with my family.

The house was perfect for us. The kitchen was really well stocked. Crock pot, blender , plenty of pans. Just 4 forks which was weird. They have enough dishwasher soap for 2 loads You will have a few trash bags. No paper towels or any other amenities. The laundry room had soap for two loads. The golf cart was perfect to get around. You can go to Baytown Wharf for eating and activities. You can make it to Publix to shop and there are lots of shopping and food in that area also. The pool is right across the street from this house. We used this pool and the bigger one. It was great!!

2021 beach trip

House has a great setup and checks all the boxes. We’ve stayed in Villa Lago before. The turnover service could do a better job cleaning the property before arrival, as we found some interesting trash. Also, the house has 4 forks in the kitchen…..

2 days before arrival I was contacted and said that the property I was suppose to stay in was not available and that I would be staying at another 4 bedroom house. This house was not as nice as the original house and I was not giving any type of refund for the inconvenience this cause. We didn't have the private balcony off of the master suite. We need a six person golf cart and this place only have a 4 person golf cart cause the other golf cart was broken and if we wanted the additional golf cart we would have to pay an additional fee but the cart was broken. I was also charged a fine for parking of 3 vehicle in the drive way which never happen even took a pic and sent it to Sandestin and was still charged a $100.00. I tried reaching out to them for 4 days and they keep telling me someone will call me back. As I'm typing this still haven't heard from anyone. This was our first family trip there to Destin and we will never stay at Sandestin again. Its not worth the trouble.

First class accommodations. If you can get past the check in process, which is ALWAYS a mess at Sandestin, you’ll enjoy your time there.
