Very nice house; close to beach
The house is just like the pictures and very roomy. The street is very quiet and felt very safe. The outdoor showers and grill were great and they had great kitchen and laundry appliances. The living room couches were too deep and soft to be comfortable. The kitchen utensils were adequate, but more skillets would be helpful and there were no pot holders, which I am assuming were taken to be washed and forgotten or stolen by a guest. The master shower caulking was moldy. It needs to be taken up and recaulked. You have to use your own streaming services which was okay, but not ideal. The upstairs air conditioning did not cool down. I thought it was because the hurricane door got left open too long, but it still didn’t cool down after the door was secured. We would not stay again during peak season as the public beach at Pompano Joes is too crowded for our liking. We were able to walk to the beach with our stuff, but the lot stays so full, so one cannot rely on parking to be available if one is not able bodied. The mattresses were all very firm, which I like, but not my spouse. There is a beach service at the public beach which is nice if you don’t want to take your own chairs and shade.
