This is hidden gem! The view is gorgeous and the onsen was great. We enjoyed the exclusive japanese fine dining. They also offered a free snack and drink in the lobby during happy hour. I would love to go back.

The hotel is beautifully situated in the hills with the sound of birds and trees all the whole looking out on a panorama of Osaka. The bathing, dining and rooms were all wonderful and you can really relax. It’s close to the hiking in Minoh park where you can see many lovely trees and animals, as well as a shrine and a waterfall.

I was looking for a place that I can stay away from the tourist crowd at the same time convenient to make day trips to see the city Osaka and its attractions. This place has convenient access to public transportation. And the location and facility provides such an amazing view of the city and affinities. The staff is so friendly, amazing food and service!

This was beautiful. It made for an amazing relaxing day after traveling from Tokyo. We had a private bath and it was honestly a highlight of our trip. We are both tattooed so it made it nice to have our own space where we could enjoy as the public onsens are not tattoo friendly.

The views were amazing. A perfect position to watch the sunset and sunrise over Osaka and Mino'o forest. A complete serene get-away. Removed from it all. Booked a suite with a bath and massage chair, also included den area and “dine” area with additional cots for extra visitors. They do close the gate from 10pm-5am, if you’re looking to go out for the night, ensure you’re out until 5am. Otherwise, this is perfect to checkout and decompress. Breakfast was phenomenal and scheduled, you pick your time. There is also a free shuttle to the stations.

A serene atmosphere with breathtaking views of Osaka from our room. Ofuro was a must to indulge in. The traditional Japanese breakfast was a wonderful surprise. They lock the doors at 10pm so be in before then. There are no walkable places to eat or shop which is a plus when trying to escape that. Arigato gozaimasu!

This was an extremely peaceful resort that was friendly to a first time Onsen user. The views of Osaka were beautiful, the breakfast was timely and delicious, and there were complimentary drinks including fresh juice and wine. It’s not really a place you will want to walk to, and I do wish the patio was open earlier in the morning and later in the evening as that is where the views are best. Note that I had a “Mountain View” which really was just a view of the woods out back, which was very peaceful and worked with the aesthetic of the room but the city view rooms would definitely be the highlight.

Warning : This property is a very traditional nice Japanese Ryokan type of inn ,but not for casula western traveler ...,, my room did not have a shower or bathtub ,only toilet and sink ,no towels in the room ,you have to use the communal bath ,there is no western chairs or regular western heights tables in the room or on the property so imposible to do Computer work ,no plugs in the rooms that were acessible to charge devices ,,staff does not speak any English at all ,remote location not near any restaurants or shops ,the view was of Oska not the woods ... Not recomended unless you are looking for traditional type of inn and speak some Japanese

Vi boede i på hotellets store værelse med open-air bath. Hvilket var et skønt værelse. Badet er dog noget mindre end det synes med billederne og står desværre for lavt til at man kan se den fulde udsigt fra badet. Udsigten fra værelset og terrassen er fantastisk. Maden er traditionel Japansk mad, hvilket ikke er noget for os fra skandinavien desværre. Vi prøvede ikke hotellets andre bade faciliteter, da vi rejser mand og kvinde sammen og deres bade er opdelt i mænd og kvinder hver for sig. Jeg kunne ønske mig at hotellet lavede et fælles bad, eller at man kunne leje et bad for 1 time eller 2, så vi kunne være der helt privat. Hotellet har en gratis shuttlebus som kører mellem hotellet og den nærmeste banegård, Minoh station, på bestemte tidspunkter. Tæt på denne station ligger Minoh Park, hvilket er et smukt område at gå igennem. Følg stien til fods i ca. 40 min og du kommer til et smukt vandfald. Jeg vil anbefale at gøre som os: tag en taxi fra hotellet til Minoh waterfall og gå derfra fra vandfaldet gennem skoven, så du ender ved stationen, hvor du kan tage en taxa eller evt. hotellets gratis bus tilbage til hotellet. (Går du fra stationen mod vandfaldet, er der ingen taxi nær vandfaldet og du skal vende om og gå den lange tur tilbage til stationen igen.)
