We had a welcoming, efficient and quick check in. We arrived late in the evening on the train and we had a very short walk to the hotel. Our room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the hot and cold breakfast choices. We would definitely stay again.

Room was very spacious. Excellent with regards to being clean. Only concern here was that even though they said they would replenish towels, etc every two days, that wasn't done. I had to ask each time for things such as toilet paper or towels and the garbage to be emptied. Front Desk didn't appear knowledgeable to care much.

Room was only cleaned once, and towels at that time were not restocked. I called the night of the cleaning as my white bathrobe I had brought from home was missing - it must had been picked up with the dirty towels - it was never returned. I didn't realize that the bar doesn't open until 5:30 and the menu served there was very limited. Drapes had two handprints on them that looked like they came from a horror movie. The breakfast was pretty good and staff I actually interacted with were friendly.

The room was in good condition, however there was debris on the floor as though it had not been vacuumed and tissues on the floor by the window. Other than that, the room was clean. No microwave. The couch area was very far away from the where the tv was over by the beds, which was unfortunate. We spent a little more time in the room due to weather than we would have normally, so these things stuck out.we originally reserved one night but then booked another night online so we could come up early due to expected weather. The morning staff at the desk the morning after check in, a woman, was not overly friendly and barely spoke with me when I approached about combining my two nights so we could stay in the same room. It seemed a bit ridiculous that I had to check in and check

The shower in our bathroom was leaking and flooding the floor. The second room had a really strong smell. Throughout our stay, there was only 1 employee working in the evening. She was working the front desk, bar, and kitchen alone. Whenever we needed something, there was a significant wait time (which wasnt the employee's fault). On day 5, the entire hotel had no water. We had to stay out all day until it was fixed. When we returned, there was water, but no hot water. This was the last straw.

The doors make a lot of noise when they shut, so that might be a problem for some. Had to park across the street in the ramp, I think it was $16/day, so not bad. Has a washer and dryer for laundry, only takes quarters. There's a water fountain by the bathrooms. Very high ceilings, which is a nice feature. Very quiet (besides the doors). Breakfast was great; nice open seating area. Not many exciting options for restaurants nearby. But, the The Lost Fox has an amazing burger and is a fun place to eat. There's also a nice, little restaurant in Union Depot. Overall, great place to stay. A bit of a pain in the ass getting your luggage back and forth from the parking ramp. But, I think most people would enjoy staying here.
