Good hotel bad staff members

Jackson, the General assistant manager and the young friendly woman were the only two at the front desk who was nice during our stay at the Home2 suites. Everyone else was rude and impatient. Randy the breakfast attender was very unprofessional and rude. We won’t be returning to this hotel again. You would think that someone who has booked at this hotel, so many times and for long period of times that they would make us feel welcomed, but we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. Staff members would give us bad looks for no apparent reason whatsoever.

Our rooms didn't come with an ironing board, we had to ask the front desk for them. Also the tap water had a horrible taste and we could only drink bottled water that we purchased. Lastly, we had 2 rooms booked and would have appreciated the rooms being connected, and that wasn't the case. We were on the same floor, but very far from one another. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much and will come back. Staff was awesome, beds were super comfy, breakfast in the lobby every morning was superb and so convenient.

It wasn’t a horrible experience, but the hotel smelled weird. My kids complained about that a lot. One of the elevators was broke down and the other one got stuck between floors while I was on it. Kinda scary. Our room had no ice bucket, I asked at the front desk and she said sorry I guess we’re low on them. The breakfast was good. Pool was small and really cold. I didn’t end up in the kind of room I requested. Most of the staff was friendly.

Front desk took a while to check in. There were two people there but it lookied like one was brand new and getting trained in. The pool was ok- we have littles and its not designed for the littles. Plus the water was fridged. There were conflicting/ hodge podge blankets on the beds- and the back up blanket set for the pull out couch never has the same bedding as the actual beds. One bed had a long comforter- the other bed had what looked like a pillow top cover sheet as a blanket. Reallythe room was super narrow. Setting up pack and plays for the ba ies was a challenge to find room. Breakfast was really good- i liked the menu suggestion cards- but there was zero nutrition info available- and the staff had no clue on allergin information.

Housekeeping is only done every 3 days we stayed 6 so Housekeeping only came once even though we had requested Housekeeping every other day. Like what was stated in the room signs. One of the elevators were inoperable. And knone of the luggage carts were available. Also there was always a cad parked at the main entrance so loading, unloading was done after finding a parking place.Also we were staying there for a family wedding and my wife had the walk out the car in the parking her formal gown because the was car parked at the main entrance blocking me from picking her up. Im sure to most this sounds petty but I do try to be a gentleman and pick my wife up at the front door.
