I’ve stayed here about 10 times, I love it here , however, the many patrons at the restaurant next door make it hard to find a good parking spot. They take up all the hotel’s parking.

Well, I was not aware that the hotel was under renovation. It was older and rundown. The main problem I had was the door to my room was not closing properly. At no time should it take someone 10 minutes to close the door when leaving the room. Also there was a lot of snow in the area and the parking lot had not been plowed recently. Nor was there rock salt or ice melt put on the sidewalks. My stay was OK..

Not a good first impression when you are walking to your room and there are trash bags sitting in the ice room with the stench of garbage radiating up and down the hallway. It seems like there has been little housekeeping done on the building as a whole as most of the common area garbage cans were full and one could see pieces of garbage strewn around the hallway. The inside of the room was clean for the most part but maintenance is needed. Our door would not properly close and lock which we didn’t realize until we were coming back to the room after dinner and we could just push the door open. We just used the bar latch since we were in for the night. Note that the hotel is currently going through renovations which we didn’t know about until after we booked, but it seems the renovations are needed.

The room were a little outdated. Moisture damage in ceilings and doors. The hot water temperature wasn’t working in my first room so they moved me to a suite. The hot tub/pool area bathroom wasn’t kept clean.

It felt like the hotel wasnt prepared for us. They scrambled around at check in to get us a room. The room wasnt heated when we came in. Also because of renovations, they only served a grab and go breakfast, which was quite pitiful. I could have gotten a better breakfast at any gas bar. This would have been nice to know in advance as i would have picked a different country inn location.

The room was definitely neglected. The sesk chair had a broken arm, the toilet paper holder was barely hanging on, both windows had broken sash springs, and right window had air gaps on both sides, no one has cleaned the AC vent filters in ions, the door card reader finally worked after 6 tries...each time, the substitute breakfast bags were far from satisfactory due to your construction. I calked about breakfast on Christmas day, but no one said that it would be in a bag. We won't be staying there again.
