This was mine and my husband's 5th stay at this rental! We love this place so much. We have brought our Cane Corso with us for the last 3 stays. It is so relaxing and quiet and peaceful. The view off the deck is gorgeous and has a gate at the stairs so our dog can sit next to us while we enjoy a cocktail watching the lake and the sunset. We also love taking her on the fishing boat over to the islands where she can swim and get out all her energy. The property is just as it is pictured. I love the open lay out and the kitchen! This place is one of a kind! Neighbors on both sides are also very friendly and the area is quiet. Love it so much!

Early summer vacation

Overall a very pleasant vacation, we enjoyed visiting the small towns in the area. The cottage was very nice inside, clean and stocked well with what we needed. The bed was comfortable which was important to us! We were a little disappointed in the deck furniture, which was quite worn and swimming in front of the cottage wasn't good. All in all, a very nice cottage that could use a little maintenance on the walkways outside. Neighbors on the East side were very friendly. As others have mentioned, all the signs posted up and down the access road referring to "rental property/not hotels" weren't very welcoming.

We were looking to relax, and we did. We will say the lake was disappointing because it is over wrought with weeds. However, the house was amazing! Very homy, very clean, it had everything we could possibly imagine! Sherry and Mark were wonderful and couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. The neighbors were very nice too! Frankenmuth is close, we recommend going (don't bring pets) and so is a really great Mexican restaurant called Don Felipe.

Wonderful little cottage with spectacular views of the lake. The home is comfortable, clean, well stocked and well maintained. The hosts are accessible, helpful and friendly. We are already planning a return trip for the summertime.

Enjoyed our stay. Surprisingly spacious for a 1 bedroom. Great views. Lots of bird watching. We loved the multiple entertaining areas and especially the wifi, since service isn't great. The covered porch was well used for rainy evenings.

romantic little getaway

Enjoyed staying at this Vrbo. It is just as described a romantic getaway. Communication with the owner was excellent and the property was meticulously clean when we got there. Enjoyed using the kayaks boat and paddleboat on a beautiful Murphy lake. The weather was excellent, which helped us stay. Excellent Vrbo property we plan on returning next year
