I filtered for an entire place, but this is actually a basement unit with people living above, which greatly affected privacy and noise. You can clearly hear upstairs activity, even toilet flushing, which defeats the purpose of a private rental.I booked this stay so I could cook, but there is no oven and no freezer (not disclosed). The small appliance area couldn’t handle more than two items at once without tripping power, so cooking wasn’t realistic. The coffee maker was dirty, and while the space looked tidy, everything was very dusty.Temperature control requires messaging the host since there’s no thermostat access. The listing also advertised laundry, but there’s only a laundromat nearby. The couch is not a four-seat reclining sofa as listed, and the beds were very firm and uncomfortable.Parking directions were unclear, the view is construction, and the “kids area” mentioned doesn’t exist. A camera on the porch and blocked stairs added to an uncomfortable, monitored feeling.Hosts were responsive, but the space lacks the privacy, amenities, and accuracy advertised. If I had known, I would have booked a hotel instead.
