Milhars is one of the gateways to the Tarn region when approaching from the Gorges de l'Aveyron toward the thousand-year-old town of Cordes-sur-Ciel, perched on its rocky hill. Here you’ll discover unspoiled nature, the shaded banks of the Cérou River, and a history and heritage dating back several centuries (medieval alleyways and a feudal castle). Lace up your hiking boots and explore the valley and the Bonnan Waterfall—a magnificent hike along the ridges overlooking the village. Around Milhars and Cordes, you can enjoy a leisurely bike ride along the paths winding through fields and vineyards. The more adventurous can hop on their mountain bikes for fantastic rides through the woods or across the Causses. In the heart of unspoiled Occitanie, you can visit Najac and its castle, Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val (with its wonderful Sunday market), the Grésigne Forest and its fortified villages (Puycelsi, listed among the most beautiful villages in France, and the fortress of Penne), and you’ll be delighted by the warm welcome from the winemakers of the Gaillac region and the Pays des Bastides. Detached cottage, right next to the owner’s home, on a nursery along the Cérou River. An 18th-century stone building. Large, enclosed garden with trees, private 10x5m pool (depth ranging from 1.2m to 2.10m), playground equipment for children, patio furniture, and a plancha grill. First floor: - living area with a fully equipped open kitchen, very bright and opening directly onto the garden through large floor-to-ceiling windows (sofa, table, and chairs), wood-burning stove. Kitchen appliances: 4-burner gas stove, refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and electric kettle. A spiral staircase leads to the upper floor. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are located upstairs - Bedroom 1, very large, with a 160x200 double bed + a 90x190 single bed - Children’s bedroom (Bedroom 2) with a single bed (90x190) and a pull-out single bed (80x190), which can be converted into a double bed (160x190). - Bathroom with shower and sink, - Separate toilet
