This was a getaway that was planned for seeing Cooperstown and all that the little town had to offer. The August Lodge is amazing and made this trip so much more than we could ever ask for. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home every day. The views were spectacular and we spent our evenings on our patio watching the eagles soar around the mountains. Thank you August staff for making our birthday, anniversary and Mother’s Day vacation a lifetime of great memories.

Wonderful hotel

The staff at this little lodge is so kind. We were one of only two families both nights, but we really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views, convenient to the HoF, delicious coffee.

What a beautiful facility, and piece of property. We were visiting The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, and this was a reasonable driving distance. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean, and the views are awesome. They even have a fire pit that overlooks the scenic hillside. They had a continental breakfast in the morning as well.
