I would stay here again for DreamsPark baseball

Positives: quiet little town, nice relaxing front porch, 5 min drive to Dreams Park baseball, plenty of towels and coffee supplies, owner was very responsive Negatives: up a steep set of stairs (we didn’t mind), laundry is outside around back and coin operated, kitchen is very minimal We would absolutely stay here again

Cute place, slightly deceiving

House is very cute and easy to locate. The steep stairs were fine for our group, but could be problematic for those requiring assistance. It was physically clean, however the host was using a plethora of auto air fresheners to mask residual odors which bothered those with chemical sensitivity. Kitchen was sub par as far as cooking/dining equipment, which is fine if you're eating out and don't plan to cook/reheat food. As expected with older homes, the outlet situation is limited, so charge your devices before your stay. Not sure if we'd stay here again for the price we paid (450/night after HOF Induction was over), but it served the purpose. Shout out to Dan who was there to greet us and made us feel super welcome.

This VRBO was an apartment on the upper floor of an older home. The listing did not indicate that we had to climb a flight of steep stairs to reach the apartment. This was less than suitable for us - over 75 with big duffels. The apartment reminded us of our first apartments after college. Not air conditioned, though each of the 3 bedrooms had window AC units that worked just fine.

This house is in a great location. Close to Cooperstown Dreams Park and the town of Milford is lovely. The house itself is super old, which is just fine. It has a lot of character. The listing says No Smoking, so you expect a smoke free space. Every time you walk in the door you get a strong smell of old smoke. It is probably in the carpet and walls. I was disappointed with the cleanliness. There was a big brown spot on a bedroom carpet that the host had to come clean. Hair all over the family room rug. We tried to vacuum it ourselves even though the host says the cleaner vauumed. I believe that they try to vacuum, but when we tried the vacuum did not suction at all. The kitchen was very poorly stocked with kitchenware to cook anything. It was a great location, but the house really needs some refreshing and better cleaning. Oh, also we found out on checkin we needed coins for the washer and dryer. Wasn't prepared for that so had to go exhange for coins. It could be a very nice place to stay, if it was cleaner.

House suited us just fine for a weekend at the Baseball Hall of fame- communication was great, and location was perfect. Would stay again!
