Room was as clean as they could make it but smelled terrible. Room smelled like old cigarette smoke and carpet smelled bad too. Pet friendly room with carpet... no good. Room needs a fresh coat of paint and pull the carpet. TV didn't work. Staff was great and tried to fix TV but unsuccessful.

The carpet in room 101 was soaking wet. From the door to the TV. The room had a musky order and I’m assuming it’s from the carpet. Otherwise, the room was comfortable. The bed was also very hard.

Disappointed

Staff was good. Lots of outlets didn’t work. 2 tv remote was confusing. Hair in a few spots in bathroom n sink area. Other clientele made us nervous. It is a motel not a best western hotel that you would think of as being up to the brand’s standards.

Very clean room. I would say needs a bit of an update in the next few years, but overall it was a great stay. Very quaint and quite. The staff was very cordial and helpful. Always had a smile.

We left.

In fairness, we never got into the room. We arrived late evening to an empty lobby which had a massive bin of what looked to be dirty laundry sheets in the breakfast area and no employees in the lobby, which looked really nothing like the photos. There were lots of dudes hanging out in their rooms with the doors wide open to the outside, which made us feel very watched. I’ve never just walked on a reservation before, but it was just me and my daughter and it was sufficiently leery that we felt unsafe. So we left. Reading later reviews, we saw that many folks reported the pool and hot tub that are advertised have not been usable for months, and that similarly unclean conditions have been reported frequently. We found another much safer and cleaner feeling place in town for just a few dollars more.

Friendly stay

This hotel is possibly one of the friendliest ones I've stayed at. All the staff went out of their way to welcome everyone and they were super helpful with giving a good lay of the town and what goes on. The rooms were dated but very clean and the continental breakfast was a stand warm breakfast with waffles, biscuits and gravy and eggs. I will definitely stay again.
