Old World Elegance in a semi-rural setting

We really enjoyed our stay at Bastione. This is a an old manor home full of Sicilian aristocratic history. The A/C worked well in all of the bedrooms and the kitchen/dining rooms were very well equipped for large dinners our family hosted. Alberto and his wife were so gracious from beginning to end. They were able to turn most of the double beds into singles at our request. He also gave us tons of information on local sites/beaches. (side note: Sayonara beach club was awful/rundown, but Lido La Fenice is just a few minutes further and it is really well-managed.) WiFi was spotty in a couple of rooms, but we managed my moving to another room. The downstair lounge converted easily into a 5th bedroom with A/C. The owners were very responsive to our text messages via What's App. Thank you, Alberto, for a wonderful stay! This is a large, beautiful house which can accommodate a very large extended family. You will want cars (parking is easy) as there isn't much to walk to.

A wondering gathering place for family and friends

We had a fantastic family holiday at Sainte Maria, the space was a luxury. Spacious bedrooms, a wonderfully large and well equipped kitchen, several sitting rooms that we never used, 4 modern shower rooms equipped with hairdryers. The outdoor terrace is where we spent most of our time, relaxing, dining and BBQ. Internet. Our lovely hosts Martina and Alberto were just so welcoming and attentive , it was thanks to them that our holiday was so special. They gave us many places to visit, the best beaches and most importantly their favorite local food shops which we used daily. The beaches were only a quick car ride away and there was a different one for every day. This was definitely a five star house.

Una posto da incantevole

La villa Ăš perfetta e arredata in ogni stanza nei minimi dettagli.! Ha attrezzature per ogni uso. In pochi minuti si arriva al mare senza traffico.I proprietari sono delle persone squisite e attenti ad ogni richiesta. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.!

Sehr großes altes ehemaliges Landhaus

Wir hatten in dem großen Haus mit vielen gerĂ€umigen Zimmern wunderbare Urlaubstage verbracht, die KĂŒche und die WohnrĂ€ume sind wirklich sehr groß, es sind viele Erinnerungsobjekte (Bilder der Ahnen, StammbĂ€ume, alte Abbildungen und LageplĂ€ne des Hauses usw.) der Familie in den einzelnen RĂ€umen vorhanden, das gibt dem ganzen Anwesen einen sehr persönlichen und exklusiven Flair, ist sicherlich eine seltene Gelegenheit, sich fĂŒr die Dauer eines Urlaubs in die historischen Wohn- und LebensverhĂ€ltnisse hineinzuversetzen. Von der praktischen Seite her war auch alles sehr großzĂŒgig ausgestattet, die KĂŒche hatte wirklich alles, was man braucht, auch Geschirr in ausreichender Menge, um die SpĂŒlmaschine nicht nach zwei Mahlzeiten halbleer Laufen lassen zu mĂŒssen, die Umgebung ruhig, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten allerdings nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Insgesamt rundum positiv zu bewerten.

Im Baglio von 1834

Gern schließen wir uns allen positiven Bewertungen an. Wir genießen es, in alten und landestypischen HĂ€usern (im Sizilianischen wird so ein Haus "baglio" genannt) zu wohnen, die viel zu erzĂ€hlen haben. Insofern lagen wir bei der Wahl dieses Hauses absolut richtig. Die Bilder in den wunderschön restaurierten RĂ€umen lassen die Urlauber zudem an den Familiengeschichten der Vermieter teilhaben. Einen Parkplatz findet man immer vor dem Haus unter alten PfefferbĂ€umen. Die nahegelegenen unendlich langen StrĂ€nde bieten viel Platz. Unsere Empfehlungen fĂŒr AusflĂŒge: Tindari, die Marinello-StrĂ€nde, Torre Faro, Novara di Sicilia, Jalari-Park, Castroreale. Von den Vermietern wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Auch wĂ€hrend des Urlaubs waren sie fĂŒr uns immer erreichbar und stets hilfsbereit. Grazie mille an Martina und Alberto, dass wir hier unseren Urlaub so angenehm verbringen konnten. Wonderful Sicilian villa

It's a wonderful place situated close to Milazzo and only a few minutes drive to the coast. The villa easily accommodated 7 adults and 2 children. There is lots of space to roam around inside and outside, including a large terrace and garden. It's an interesting building with a lot of fascinating details that also offers all the modern facilities. The family running the villa were very friendly and helped us out whenver we needed it. Overall a highly recommended place to stay.

Bellissimo soggiorno, ottima accoglienza

La casa Ăš molto bella, antica ma con ogni comoditĂ . Camere molto spaziose, elegante zona pranzo, cucina grandissima ed equipaggiata davvero di tutto. Ambiente intorno simpatico e sicuro. Padroni di casa di squisita gentilezza, danno una perfetta accoglienza. Le calette del mare di Milazzo, viste dalla barca e attraverso gli occhi del signor Alberto, sono magnifiche. La spiaggia piĂč vicina alla casa (15 minuti a piedi) Ăš molto ampia e non affollata. Bella esperienza!

SĂ©jour parfait Ă  Milazzo. La maison est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, vaisselle, Ă©lectromĂ©nager, mobilier...Alberto a rĂ©solu immĂ©diatement un problĂšme de climatisation un dimanche soir Ă  21h, pour notre confort, il fait tout pour que l’on se sente bien. Il nous a emmenĂ© faire une croisiĂšre dans la baie, les enfants ( et parents) ont Ă©tĂ© ravis de cette journĂ©e sur son bateau. L’accueil de Martina et Alberto est exceptionnel. On se sent parfaitement bien dans la maison qui est grande. Ce sera un super souvenir de vacances.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, sehr hilfsbereit mit sehr guten Tipps. Unterkunft war der Hammer.

Das Haus war einfach genial wenn man auf alte HĂ€user steht. Innen war alles sehr reinlich und neu hergerichtet was aber den Stil dieses Hauses nicht störte. Die Gastgeber waren immer erreichbar und sehr nett. Sie gaben uns Tipps was in der nĂ€he gerade aktuell war und waren per Whatsapp immer zu erreichen. Sie waren nicht aufdringlich Alberto kam einmal in 11 Tagen vorbei und fragte ob alles ok ist. Sonst per Wathsapp. Uns gefiel es sehr gut und wir hatten auch keine Probleme mit den Nachbarn (Party bis 2 Uhr frĂŒh) Im gegenteil wir setzten uns mit Ihnen auf die Bank und unterhielten uns so gut es ging. Wir wurden von Ihm auch auf ein Glas Wein eingeladen und er schenkte uns Tomaten und Zuchini. Einfach perfekt. Der tĂ€gliche GemĂŒseservice um 9 Uhr und der Kreisler um die Ecke waren perfekt wenn man mal einen Tag nicht wegfahren wollte. Milazzo mit dem Pool of Venus der Kirche und dem Hafen (Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr Vulcano Stromboli) sind 10 Minuten entfernt gewesen. Genauso der Lidl und Spar. Der Strand war Kilometerlang und mit dem Rad in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Alles in allem. Perfekt. Alberto und Martina Immer wieder. Danke das wir eure GĂ€ste sein durften.
