Very charming and centrally located spot. We loved having a balcony where we enjoyed the coffee and pastries from the bakery just a couple of doors away. (Very popular bakery!)

This place is a glorified youth hostel. The pictures do not accurately represent the property at all. I dropped my bags, went and grabbed a quick lunch, and then decided to leave the property without staying. Expedia’s attempt to get this property to refund any of my money was unsuccessful. There was trash piled outside of the entrance, and workers on scaffolding directly outside of my room that could look directly into our room. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

The place was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is very close to the Duomo and other important locations but not that many restaurants and cafes nearby. I highly recommend it if you just want a nice place to rest in a very good location.

In a very exclusive area of Milan (where all the fashion boutiques are) and about 10 mins walk from The Duomo. Micro hotel on the third floor. Room was nice, very clean and well equipped but it was quite noisy at night - both from the street but also outside the room which was right next to the reception. Good value for €€ given location.

We were so impressed with the location! We could walk to amazing restaurants and shops, the magnificent Duomo of Milan, and the train stations are short cab rides away from Velvet Grey. There's a bakery meters away - the croissants alone were worth the trip to Milan!

Nice boutique hotel in a safe, shopping area of Milan - easy walk to sites and restaurants. Easy check in with a lift. Only issue was a/c was leaking and the floor was all wet. The girl came and looked at it but it kept leaking. Room was a good size and had everything we needed.
