Elegant hotel, but oddly they have subterranean rooms, which do smell like a cellar (the air down there is not so good). Only Italian TV's were available, toilet wouldn't flush well, heavily overpriced breakfast with very little fresh fruits and stale (old bread). Very small uncomfortable waiting area in a tight lobby. Heavily overpriced considering all factors, but conveniently close to the train station AND very kind staff.

We were upgraded to Glam hotel. So my overall rating was for the Glam hotel. Around the Spice Hotel wasn’t that pretty. However, around the Glam Hotel was fine.

The hotel was nice and clean, adequate for my needs. Breakfast was also adequate but I am happy I didnt prepay for my entire stay. The staff was helpful, especially with storing my luggage after check in and check out. I didn't like the area surrounding the hotel

Great stay in the heart of Milan

Room was very nice . Newly renovated. Staff in lobby was superb ( especially Chris ). Received many recommendations for the area . Location only blocks from the train station. Good location for travel.

Never have I experienced a hotel where 1 minute after breakfast is over they tell you to leave because they’re closed and need to clean. Literally have stayed in over 100 hotels while traveling and it is always the same. When breakfast is about to close they ask every guest to get what they need because it will close. Not here. Me and my husband were enjoying the coffee and tea and the end of our meal and at 1101 we’re told they’re closed and need to clean. I went straight to reception and they said they agreed that’s not right. But that was it. I asked for a manager and they stated she would be there the next day. The next day she said she spoke to the person. Agreed that it wasn’t what should happen and apologized. We didn’t have at breakfast again because being told to leave is just ride and ruins your day. We paid for breakfast for every day. There was no.” Let me reimburse you for the breakfasts you didn’t eat because of the rudeness”. No. Just the typical “ this has never happens.” Laughed it off. I’m sorry. Have a great day! With so many hotel options this was just a terrible experience. When we returned to get our luggage. They didn’t check the tags and our stuff was all over the closet. We shopped. Anyone could have pointed at our bags and taken our stuff. Terrible! I do not recommend.
