The hotel was in a great location, the room was clean and fit for purpose. The staff were a little distant on arrival, and I did not receive any change after paying the city tax; you could only pay the tax in cash which meant I had to venture out and find a cash point before I could check in - not ideal after a long journey.

Appalling. Photos of room on Expedia are very misleading. They show a bathroom in the room but it was down the other end of the corridor so we had to get dressed to go to the toilet at night which wakes up your partner because the bedroom light goes on. Also, no robe was supplied. When I tried to communicate with them about this but they ignored me. The light in the bathroom didn't work. I told them but 15 hours later it still was not fixed. No tea coffee or water was supplied. $497.86 was a rip off

The location is 10/10. However, the rooms are extremely small and uncomfortable. We were not able to turn on the Air Conditioner (we asked for help to 3 different members of the staff). The rooms are clean and renovated. The bathroom is also extremely small, it’s very difficult to have a proper shower, and also had a bad smell. It lacks of basic bathroom spaces: like a towel hanger, somewhere to put your personal hygene accesories, and even a place in the washbasin to put the soap.

What a delightful treat this turned out to be. I confess it was a last minute change of hotel and I'm so glad I did. Just 10 minutes from Cadorna train station, only 5 minutes from Castle Sforza and The Duomo. Perfect for a few nights in Milan. Hotel staff were friendly - should out to the lovely gentleman covering the reception for most of my stay. He really made excellent cappuccino. Room was small but clean - what more do you need?

Great location, simple room.

The location of the hotel could not be better. Right in the middle of the city centre of Milan, walkable to all major tourist spots. The room itself is very small, with barely enough room to keep an open suitcase. But it is clean, and secure, and the hotel staff are all very nice and friendly.

Fake advertising

I know I booked a room with the bathroom inside the room!!!. I saw the rooms described with bathrooms down the hallway, so I thought and still think I avoided and did not book such. The day prior to, I get the surprise... and the transaction was non refundable and non transferable. I made the mistake of booking for 4 nights instead of 3 and they did not give me a chance, took my money without second thoughts. So I ended up paying for a night I did not use. Be aware!!!, cause the room description states "private bathroom", the only detailed they failed to emphasize was that the room was private, no one but you will use it, but it is located down the hall and not inside the room. And to top it off, the "normal" rooms were cheaper than mine!! So if you have to urinate in the middle of the night....well, you get the idea....
