This would have been an excellent stay if it weren't for a few glitches with the toilets (that were taking care of eventually). The room was modern with nice accents and I recommend spending a bit more to get the superior with the little balcony on the park. The street itself is very quiet so no problem noise-wise. The vibe of the hotel is a bit business-like so if you like hotels with a warm, old-style feeling this is not it. Bathroom has a great, big shower with soft towels and robes. The best feature of the hotel is its location. You can virtually visit all of the main tourists areas in Milan without taking any transportation (and if you get tired you have the Turati subway station really closeby and San Babila at 15 minutes walk, which means you can get there from Linate by subway). If you are a runner you have the added bonus of being right on the Palestro park.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing because of multiple unresolved plumbing problems. At one point, the shower and sink water turned brown, making it impossible to shower or even brush our teeth in the room. While we were initially given access to another room to shower, our own toilet flushed nonstop and made it very difficult to sleep. Later, the same issues persisted but we were not provided with an alternative room, even though I understand that other guests were accommodated. By the end of the stay, while the shower was finally fixed, the toilet was completely broken and unusable. For the price and reputation of this hotel, I expected much better.

Extra charges

The stay was good but the hotel charged us extra for 2nd person. They said it is only booked for one person. I am not sure why it shows like that but honestly rooms are meant for 2 people always. I requested to talk to the expedia team directly but they said we need to talk to them. It was unnecessary a hassle so we paid extra 40 euros per night extra. We did not appreciate that.

We stayed at Hotel Manin and the check-in process was easy. The breakfast included was okay, they served canned versus fresh fruits but it was still good for the price we paid. The room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately, we had an emergency and had to cut the trip short. They would have refunded the rest of the days we didn’t use our rooms but since it was pre-paid through Expedia, they couldn’t do it. This hotel is also pet friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the Duomo, as well as many great restaurants and shops. The rooms were surprisingly spacious for Europe, and we found them to be very comfortable. Breakfast was quite decent, especially considering the price. The only downside was that one of our rooms had a shutter blocking the window that couldn't be opened, which meant there was no natural light and the room felt quite dark. Aside from that, everything was great, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others
