This was a very disappointing experience!
The apartment is very old and outdated with many damaged areas such at kitchen, roof, shower structure and wobbly stairs leading up to the washroom and loft sleeping area.
We stayed for 6 days and only used the shower a total of 3 times - the temperature was impossible to work with, one second it was freezing cold and the next bringing hot with very little in between. This made for very speedy showers and on the 3rd shower it completely flooded the whole bathroom (which has no drain or ability to handle water) so it started leaking through the roof onto the downstairs table where my magazines and other paperwork had been sitting which all got ruined! When I tried to figure out what was wrong I lifted the drain cover and was disgusted by the filth and build up I found, obviously causing the flooding. SO GROSS!
This was advertised as a ‘non-smoking’ property but none of the other guests respected this and this resulted in our apartment reeking of cigarette smoke the entire stay! The walls are paper thin with no seals on any doors!My daughter has asthma and was up all night one of our nights coughing! That same night the guests next door were having a party and kept loud music, drinking and smoking heavily going until 3:45am! Dispute my asking them nicely to please stop, couldn’t reach any building managers as it was the middle of the night so our entire next day of adventures was cut short because we were exhausted!! So so brutal!!!
