The River House is a large farmhouse, that borders the scenic Juniata River, with a stone section built in the 1790s. Enjoy canoeing, fishing, swimming, campfires, and more! The home comes with a large 1 acre plus yard for recreation and games. The back porch is equipped with a grill to compliment the firepit. This place is amazing! It is huge! We had 19 people and didn't feel crowded at all. Not only was there a great room for all of us to gather, but other nooks for smaller groups. And the kitchen table seats 18 people and has 2 refrigerators. Although the weather was cold and snowy, River House was cozy and warm. Host was very quick to respond to queries. Grocery store really close by.

Stayed here for the weekend for a family wedding that was in the area. Place was very clean upon checking in and had no issues while there. We had a great time at the river house. Beautiful setting on the river, plenty of space, and lots to do. The covered outdoors area, fire pit, grill, pickleball / shuffle board court, and wide open back yard made it easy to spend most of our time having fun outside. Definitely recommend!
