We stayed in a handicapped room and it was clearly one that they had tried to adapt from an existing room. The bed was way too high for a handicapped person; the toilet was way too low and made a loud whistling noise; No USB outlets for charging devices...an old hotel that was just sort of "hanging on".

The location is great. The place is a bit run down, but it's fine for the price. What really made the trip was the incredible customer service by Jose at the front desk - so courteous, kind, and went above and beyond every time I interacted with him. He is truly a gem!

They were going to charge me $100 to have my tiny dog in the room. A terrier-Chihuahua mix. Obviously an animal they will destroy a hotel room. The attendant declined to charge me the extra $100 but only because I told him it was highway robbery Aside from that, the place was okay.
