The room was mostly clean, however on the lower part of the mirror frame in the bathroom i noticed dried crusty stuff, not sure it was, but it didn't look good. We also had a wasp in our room that was unexpected and kinda upsetting

We used the pool and hot tub every day of our 7 day stay. Both were clean and very enjoyable. The breakfasts were OK, some days were better than others. The flavored waffles are not too good. They have a weird taste in the middle.

Booked through Hotels.com without any problem. When we got there, the front desk had issues getting the reservation linked up, but gave me the key card without any instruction or information. Got to the room that was suppose to have two queen beds, but was only one king bed. When I asked the front desk about it , she said they didn’t have any more. No explaination, just stared at me. I brought up my reservation confirmation to show her. Her response was, “we don’t have any available.” Confused, I told her I had a reservation for and paid for a room with two queen beds. Her response was, “ Well, we don’t have any available. That is the risk you take when booking trough a third party.” I found her curtness, lack of explaination, and lack of being upfront from the time of check-in completely unacceptable for customer service. We will never book with Hampton Inn again since they cannot fulfill reservations from a third party. We did try to call Hampton Inn for a reason why they didn’t have our room, but the number on their website was a third party not a Hampton Inn employee!! She was the only rude worker we ran into. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpfull. Besides the service, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean except for spiderwebs, the floor tiles were cracked, the mirror was dirty, and the free breakfast was somewhat cold, and mostly breads.

Stinky room.

The room had a terrible odor. The desk clerk tried to help us with some spray air freshener. It didn’t help. It came from the air conditioner or wet carpet. The toilet handle didn’t work. If you took the lid off the tank you could use the flush mechanism to flush the bowl. Because we booked through you, a third party, we couldn’t switch rooms as easily. It also is making it more difficult for us to receive a discount on our night’s stay. The desk was helpful but because we hadn’t reserved through them, they said they couldn’t help us at all. That doesn’t make us want to us hotels.com very quickly if using your site causes problems.please let me know how you are going to fix this problem.

Nice place to stay close to shipshewana. Very clean and friendly staff. Be mindful the accessible room on the third floor has a tricky shower might not be friendly for a guest who can’t stand to shower or left legs into tub.
