I recently stayed at this Best Western, and while the exterior looked nice, the experience inside was extremely disappointing.
First, it’s important to note that the hotel is located right next to a gentleman’s club — something that may make some guests uncomfortable. The front desk receptionist was friendly when we checked in, which I appreciated, but things went downhill quickly after that.
When we entered our first room, there was a strong odor, and we noticed mold on the ceiling and along the walls. We immediately requested another room. The second room didn’t have a TV remote, and when we called the front desk, we were told only one person was on staff, so it would take some time. The remote finally arrived around 11 p.m., but it wouldn’t sync to the TV.
We called again and were told to wait until the next morning. However, the next day no one came to clean our room, replace towels, or fix the TV issue. When we called again, we were told there was still only one person on staff and to wait until the following morning — but we were checking out that day.
Overall, we had no working TV, no housekeeping, and had to change rooms because of mold. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this location until they address their maintenance and staffing issues.
