Our cabin comfortably sleeps families and small groups with a queen bedroom downstairs, a spacious upstairs loft featuring bunk beds and a twin ottoman pull-out, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, we've recently added **new window A/C units** that keep the cabin cool and comfortable during the warmer summer months.

After a day of adventure, relax with a family movie night, play board games, or soak in the deep bathtub before settling in for a peaceful night's sleep surrounded by the beauty of the Sierra Nevada.

* As a true mountain cabin, wildlife such as deer, wild turkeys, bears, and other native animals are common. Please remain aware, especially after dark.

Winter Travel

If you're visiting during the winter season, please plan accordingly:

* We have the driveway plowed before your arrival whenever possible.
* Our driveway is steep. **4WD or AWD is strongly recommended**, and carrying tire chains is advised during snowy or icy conditions.
* During active snowfall, guests may need to shovel the walkway or stairs. A shovel is located beneath the deck at the first landing.
* Please be aware that mountain storms can occasionally cause power outages. The cabin does not currently have a generator, and all heating sources are electric.

This place was great for my family of 6. We were accommodated quite well and were provided with everything we needed from toiletries , towels, wood pellets for the heater , and they also provided all utensils needed to cook and eat like pots,pans, keurig, toaster and all. Hosts are easy to talk too and very welcoming. Highly recommend this place 10/10.

Our family had a great 3-day vacation hosted by Martin, he is a great host! We love every detail of the cabin setting, the kids love their attic space a lot. The wood fireplace is beautiful and warm.

Amazing family-friendly property - tastefully remodeled

My family loved the property - with the kid friendly loft that could entertain and sleep 3 kids. The extra pull-out bed in living room allows us to add some extra family members who were visiting to our trip.The queen bed was extremely comfortable, my partner said it was better than the one we had at home.Overall the property is new (as of Jan 2025) and well situated for any ski trips to Dodge Ridge (30 mins away).Note the lack of washer/dryer but the host provided us with sufficient towels that it was never an issue.

A bit of a learning curve for newby

My family and I enjoyed the house and our visit. The house is small and cosy. It is nicely decorated and furnished. This was our first time using a pellet stove for heating. This cabin does not have central heat, so using the pellet stove was necessary and fun. The owner provided clear instructions and it was easy, but there is a bit of a learning curve in its use—getting the right setting to warm the house without making it a sauna.The master bed is very comfortable. Only one bath was a bit of a challenge for 4 adults, but worked better than I feared. The appliances are new and preformed well. Coffee was provided as well as a nice welcome basket. Thanks! There were plenty of glasses/mugs and enough pots/pans, but I suggest adding more dinner plates and salad plates. We needed to run the dishwasher after every meal in order to have dishes for the next meal, which was fine, but I hate running a half empty load. It did not snow while we were there, which made the stairs manageable. I think I would have worried a bit about them if it had. There are quite a few of them from the driveway to the front door! I didn’t realize we would have to turn on the water, but the directions were clear and it was easy. Everything went smoothly. I appreciated the clear instructions and the other little touches that made our visit special.
