Unfortunately, the pool was not open and the hotel never informed us. We were also not given any instructions at the spa since we arrived a day earlier. They should have mentioned that we needed to arrive at least 20 minutes in advance.

The check-in process was poor. The agent was not rude, but very indifferent and short. The rooms were clean, but the mattress was not comfortable, I woke up with a back pain numerous times during the night and the pillows were hard. The alarm clock USB-C adapters to charge your phone and they didn’t work. When we complained, they changed our room and the other one was the same. The restaurants were mediocre at best. After I checked out of our room this morning I tried to get coffee and bagels at Einstein bagel. They don’t take cash and they don’t take credit cards only charge your room.

At check in, I requested one of the remodeled rooms, I was told it would be an extra $25 per night charge. That was never mentioned when booking online. So of course (knowing from previous stays) my room had only two dimly lit lamps that could have been from the 50's. A shower head than felt like needles on your skin and when your done showing your standing in 3 inches of water because the drain is not draining!

Wow. In the most understated way I could say it; just wow. We were way over charged for our stay with countless ads at the elevator and lobby and even on the site to sign in for WiFi claiming how you can get all these things free and have your “resort fee waived” if you stay during the 250th celebration. Silly us. We booked earlier and through hotels.com so not only could there be no resort fee waived but we had to pay more than double the resort fee. One through casa Blanca and one through hotels for each night. Two rooms double the fees. Cool. No pool. No microwave. No coffee maker. And we were welcomed into our room to find someone’s inhaler and a sock in one room and our other room had a few empty Zyn tins next to the bed. Extremely disappointed with the lack of service and amenities at casa Blanca and really the over charge and extra fees with hotels.com. It will definitely change how we stay for all of the scheduled times we need to be traveling soon.
