Unfortunately, the pool was not open and the hotel never informed us. We were also not given any instructions at the spa since we arrived a day earlier. They should have mentioned that we needed to arrive at least 20 minutes in advance.

The rooms are disgusting dirty dated. The bathroom tubs are stained the water takes forever to get warm and still just stays warm not hot even in the highest temp. Yes the is the standard room and you could pay more for a clean room but even the standard should be clean. I will not stay in these rooms again. The door is loose, when you close it there’s still a gap and the door can be wiggled and pushed to see a gap. Definitely a safety issue.

The room was in need of upgrading. It was on the first floor. The bed was saggy, the carpet was old and dirty and the room needs new lighting. They are showing upgraded rooms in the elevators and it emphasized the poor condition of our room. The changes being made to the restaurants, casino, ect. make it seem more like Las Vegas. We choose Mesquite for it's unique setting, if we wanted to go to Las Vegas we would. I really missed the Cups restaurant and the ice cream shop. We liked that you left some of the older slot machines, just wish you had kept them all. We are older and not into the video slots.

None of the restaurants are open until after 4pm. The rooms are very dated and there is no coffee maker, nor does the mini-frig have a freezer in it. I would not stay here again

We paid extra for a renovated room. However it had old doors that didn't shut, old heating unit that was loud and horrible pillows and mattress. They just painted and put down fake hard floors.
