Casa Blanca No Bueno

Not the friendliest at the front desk. We get to our room and there is no fridge. We went back down and asked the gal at the front desk if there were supposed to be fridges in the room like it says there are on their website. She said no. That they had removed them all last July because they were electric.🤔 but were slowly putting them back in. Then the toilet wouldn’t flush correctly. The sink wouldn’t drain. The tub was disgustingly stained and dripped non stop, and slow to drain. Needless to say, we will not be staying at the Casa Blanca again.

We did arrive a before the 4 PM check in. Decided to ask if could check in if room was ready. They checked us, but did not tell us the room was not ready until after all paperwork was done. We understood this we where a bit early. Was told room would be ready between now and 4 check back. We were given a paper then said keys on it. We hung out played some games and roamed the area. Checked back a couple of times room still wasn't ready. Went back at 4 their check in time and was told room still was not ready would still have to wait.Give it another 15 to 20 minutes. Mentioned 4 was their check in time just told room was not ready. Went and checked at 4:20 room was finally ready. Through all of this seen multiple people check in and get rooms early. Couple of them even got multiple keys for rooms. So don't know why could not get a room that was ready. Staff told us nothing during all of this. Did not seem to care at all. No we are sorry or anything. Once we got in the room it wasn't worth the price paid. Toilet handle loose not flushing properly. Wall paper peeling in the bath room. Bath room door handle would stick was not functioning properly. Would not stay again.

Nice, but the rooms definitely could be updated. Had to ask for a refrigerator and they acted surprised that we didn’t have one ….coffee pot would be nice with some coffee in the morning.

Not a bad property for the price the spa needs to be remodeled, the cafe is closed so really not anywhere to eat have to go somewhere else unless you want to spend a lot at Katherine’s . The one morning that we were going to eat in the buffet it didn’t open until 7 am, our tee time was at 7 am

We always stay there on the way back from Lake Havasu. Check in was a breeze. Looks like new beds in hotel. They have remodeled casino. Dinner was excellent at Katherine’s again, as always. Cafe was closed, I assume because of remodel. Our credit card got hacked there, I assume. Charges from a Wingstop and Chipotle in Mesquite were on my card. Our card holder asked about these that’s why it was found. Just a FYI. We’re not happy. Just a pain!!

The stay was fine except the water never got warm in the shower. It’s difficult to wake up to a cold shower every day! The maids were very nice, the front desk gentleman was curt and not very helpful. The staff on the casino floor were wonderful! The room was clean.

The rooms are old and in mostly mid to average condition. We had 2 rooms, and neither had a fridge?! WHAT?! No microwave either. Extremely inconvenient. The pool was closed our 1st night even though the website stated in highlighted bold letters it was open. EVERYONE who came down to the pool was in shock and disbelief that it was closed. For crying out loud, it was spring break week and 90 degrees. But after what must have been much complaining they did open it the next day for the week, which was great. That pool is one of the major reasons we and nearly everyone we talked too drove 8 or more hours to enjoy! Cmon management, keep the pool open and read the friggin room. The beds were extremely comfortable and nice. Some staff are great, others are just pissed to be alive. We felt very safe while there, both around the grounds and in the hotel. The guests that visit are overwhelmingly a joy to be around. It seems to attract a fun group of folks from all over. Overall, it is a wonderful place to go, BUT rooms need a major update and overhaul, with freaking fridges and microwaves, AND KEEP THE FRICKIN' POOL OPEN!!
