The high ceilings and glass make for a fabulous vista looking out to the lake and mountains. The guest house offers 1 bedroom and sleeping in the 3-season room plus kitchen/dining/living room and full bath. Imagine meandering out to the deck for your morning coffee while gazing out to the lake. After breakfast, head out on the water for a morning of adventure. The dock will accommodate your boat up to 23 feet in length (owner keeps their boat on one side of the dock). Once back on shore, you can relax on the perched beach and read a book (or gossip magazine – we don’t judge) or take a snooze before heading up to barbecue some burgers and dogs for lunch. After lunch you can challenge your mates to a game of bocce ("lawn" bocce only - no court) before hitting the water again for an afternoon dip (there are stairs leading into the water from land). Want to step back inside? The main house has central A/C and the guest house has a split A/C unit. How about a game of pool in the lower-level family room? There are lots of gathering spaces inside and out for enjoying a rousing game or some quiet reflection and reconnecting. Don’t forget to think up some funny stories for around the fire pit at night while indulging in the requisite evening s’mores – remember, calories don’t count on vacation. The huge built in fire pit offers amazing views of the purple mountains and has built in seating for the whole family.
