The basement (utilities, workshop) is accessed via the main entrance; the host may enter as needed for maintenance, more often in summer for garden watering. Cleaning service is available during your stay for an extra fee. Bed linen can be changed for an extra fee, with towels included. The house is in Frau Holle Land at the foot of the Meißner, just 7–10 minutes from hiking trails, Nordic walking routes, cross-country ski tracks, and ski lifts. The district town of Eschwege, with attractions, restaurants, and leisure options like swimming in Werratalsee or canoeing on the Werra, is 15 minutes away. Bad Sooden-Allendorf and its spa facilities are 10 minutes away.
