We've stayed here a couple of times previously and the hotel setting is as beautiful as ever. Staff and room were great. The Rogue River is so soothing. Had much more excitement this trip however with the wildfire evacuation alerts popping up on our cellphones and the "picturesque" smoke colors in the sky. Praying for the residents and fire fighters during this challenging season.

We had moderate expectations for a road side motel in a rural town but we were pleasantly surprised with how bright, clean and comfortable this place was. The pool was a nice break with the heat, other travelers used the grills, and the fridge in the room was a decent size compared to a couple of our other motel stays on this trip. Complimentary coffee was the only refreshment amenity but it was hot and fresh. There are a few yummy eating spots within walking distance for food. We would stay here again.

They need to start investing some money back into this beautiful property. The rooms are completely outdated. Just something simple as new bedspreads would go along way. Also when you step outside on the balcony its covered with spiderwebs that could be taken care of by a simple broom. The property needs some TLC!

You must know it is an older hotel but it’s kept very nice and clean and everyone was friendly. The river access is so nice and they were so accommodating with our small pet. I would stay there again. Definitely the only thing that was a little unusual was the maid came in when we were gone, and I never saw any kind of thing that you put on the door so that was a little odd but all in all we had a great time we were there for a short family two nights stay to do other activities in the area. It’s also within close walking distance to lots of restaurants.
