The breakfast had limited options. It was inconvenient not to have a coffee pot in the room and the tub is a balance challenge. The staff is excellent - friendly & professional.The hotel is extremely clean and the beds are comfortable. Construction next door makes entering and leaving tricky but this is a temporary issue.

My family and I stayed over Thanksgiving weekend, and while the staff was polite, we ran into several issues. Our first assigned room was still being cleaned, and the second room had a toilet that wouldn’t flush until maintenance fixed it while we were out. My husband and I were placed on the second floor while the rest of our family was on the fourth, which was disappointing since we were hoping to stay together. My family’s adjoining rooms had multiple door handles that were loose or falling off. One handle even fell on my toe and left a bruise. Breakfast also lacked variety, and as someone with type 2 diabetes, I struggled to find options that fit my dietary needs. The pool and hot tub were nice and at good temperatures, but two hot tub jets blew cold water. The pool room floor became slick quickly, and my two-year-old nephew slipped (thankfully not badly, he just scared himself). The room itself was also quite cold, and I was shivering just walking to the restroom. There were some positives, but too many preventable issues made the stay less comfortable than expected.

The bathroom light was horrible, felt like it was dark in there. Bathroom outlet wasn't working, had to use outlet in bedroom to dry hair. When I stepped in the shower it sunk in, so I felt like it could lend itself to falling. The towels and wash cloths weren't soft at all. The driveway to this hotel needs to be fixed and the fence taken down. Has a sharp turn and at night it was very difficult to see, so could use some extra lighting.

The shower was very weak. Literally wasn’t sure if all of the shampoo was out of my hair. So little water pressure. Had a random guy try to open my door (could’ve been a mistake) but it sealed the deal doe me.

Me and Wife came off a five hour drive from southern Virginia. To arrive at what was supposed to be an 8.4 out of 10 comfortable hotel. This place is like a roach motel. More suitable for truck drivers and lot lizards. Holes in the walls, cold shower. The sink water was hotter than the shower water. I would have NEVER come here had we seen true pictures of what we were walking into. This is extremely disappointing and there is no way they are renting these unfinished rooms to full price paying customers. I requested a full refund for this experience. This is absolutely NOT acceptable. And they still have not responded. Sad.
