This place is the best staff the most helpful people ever , everything done so fast and efficient and the view made my entire family cry .. we will come back here again .. and we will recommend it to all of our friends

Nice place to stay closer to Haram. Felt slight decline in overall standards since last visit over two years ago. Room cleanliness and maintenance could be better. Breakfast offering certainly showed less variety. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The property states it is in walking distance to the Kaaba but that is not true. Staying on floor 28, you have to take two sets of elevators to get to the mall lobby so you can walk to the Masjid al-Haram. Just leaving your room and navigating/waiting for the elevators already takes 10minutes or more. Then the crowds at the mall can also take up your time in being able to efficiently exit. It can take up to 15 to 20mins to reach the Masjid al-Haram with all of these steps. Our room was OK, nothing really 5 star about it. The shower drain in room 1823 was terrible and kept flooding. We had to keep asking the service desk to send us extra floor mats or come clean the water since it was unsafe and slippery. The room feels dated and could definitely be enhanced. There was unfinished woodwork in the bathroom to the clogging shower drain to poor flush of the toilet. The room is also a triangle type of shape so there isnt much walking space. Paying for a "5-star hotel" that boasts being the closest hotel to the Masjid al-Haram and Kaaba with a high price point, I would definitely look into staying at another property on my next trip.
