The property states it is in walking distance to the Kaaba but that is not true. Staying on floor 28, you have to take two sets of elevators to get to the mall lobby so you can walk to the Masjid al-Haram. Just leaving your room and navigating/waiting for the elevators already takes 10minutes or more. Then the crowds at the mall can also take up your time in being able to efficiently exit. It can take up to 15 to 20mins to reach the Masjid al-Haram with all of these steps. Our room was OK, nothing really 5 star about it. The shower drain in room 1823 was terrible and kept flooding. We had to keep asking the service desk to send us extra floor mats or come clean the water since it was unsafe and slippery. The room feels dated and could definitely be enhanced. There was unfinished woodwork in the bathroom to the clogging shower drain to poor flush of the toilet. The room is also a triangle type of shape so there isnt much walking space. Paying for a "5-star hotel" that boasts being the closest hotel to the Masjid al-Haram and Kaaba with a high price point, I would definitely look into staying at another property on my next trip.

My family stayed in a suite with one king bed and two twin beds from September 21 to September 25, 2025. The staff was very professional and friendly. This is, without a doubt, the best hotel in the world, offering five-star service. They truly make you feel like part of the family. If you are going for Umrah with your family, I highly recommend this hotel. From the front desk staff to room service and breakfast, everything is top-notch. I wish I could rate them more than five stars because they truly deserve it.
