Charming Schoolhouse near Hocking Hills and Lake Hope

Our family of 6 spent a weekend there with plans to go hiking in the area. We were near enough to Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave and Lake Hope too. It was perfect for us! The former schoolhouse had lots of touches that appealed to me especially as a retired teacher. Really fun atmosphere. The amenities were just right. Beds and rooms were super comfortable. The outdoor seating with a grill and hot tub on the patio were used a lot on our stay! There was also a fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs-perfect for Smores making. Our daughter had her Shepadoodle with her and she appreciated the open space across the way to play. Truly a 5-star stay for us.
