The room was very nice and staff were wonderful. In all honesty I would not recommend staying there when it is really cold. the room was 42 when we arrived and She had to bring in 2 electric heaters to bring room temperature up to 68. But if you like historic like we do it's beautiful

The person checking us in was wonderful and helpful. The hotel on the other hand is due for some renovation. The room was beat up and the toilet had a ring in it like it hadn’t been used in quite some time. It was very cold in the room we turned up the heat and couldn’t tell if it was doing anything. Went to the front desk was informed there were space heaters that needed to be turned on. She also attempted to clean the toilet but it needed more attention than she could give. Don’t believe the website I believe it’s from the previous owners the bar is closed on the property. All in all it was okay but a far cry from years gone by.
