Overall the stay at the resort and in Maui was enjoyable. It was a great vacation. However I am not sure my bungalow was cleaned before we arrived and the communication issues left me feeling like I had to constantly complain to the front desk. I am sure many of the guests had no complaints but this was my experience.
Starting at check-in. It took 45 minutes to an hour to check in.
Light on the patio did not work for 3 days. I had to go to the front desk 3 times, the 3rd time I had to express my frustration a little before they did anything.
They never gave us enough towels even though we had 4 people.
We ran out of body wash within 3 days which makes me think they did not sufficiently prepare the room for our arrival.
Also there were medications left on the headboard when we arrived and toenails on the nightstand. The room was not dusted and there were fingerprints smeared all over the patio door
The pool opens at 6am. But the activities desk did not open at least past 7:30 so we gave up trying to get towels
They have a text message service for the front desk. I texted it multiples times with no reply. Housekeeping is supposed to come over other day. They only came once and that was because I had to complain. Overall I felt like i spent way too much time complaining when I wanted to relax on my vacation.
