First time staying at the Maui Coast Hotel. The staff greeted us pleasantly and accommodated all of our requests. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The pools were sparkling clean and the restaurant food was delicious. The location was perfect as all of the shops and restaurants were within easy walking distance. I plan on heading back to Lihue and staying at the Maui Coast very soon!

We stayed in the newly renovated Kai Tower. One of the best hotel experience so far out of the three Hawaiian Islands we visited. Great accommodations with clean modern style rooms, complimentary refillable bpa free aluminum water bottles, complimentary washer and dryer, good water pressure, complimentary shuttle within 3 mile radius of the hotel, complimentary bike rentals, and pickleball paddle are available to check out to play in their pickleball courts. Great location with beach across the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Loved the staff, the saline pool, and the room. Everyone was so friendly. The fitness room is also excellent. I only wish you had an iron and ironing board and not just a steamer. Other than that, stellar stay.

The room was spacious, new and overall great. I found out that the pool bar is not part of the restaurant and that caused some issues. Here is a problem we had. There was a very loud band playing for several hours right below our room. This was super disturbing. When I called the front desk, I was told the pool bar is separate from the hotel. When I brought this up again upon checkout, the manager Manny would not take any responsibility at all. He was not even apologetic. Said there is nothing he could do. Eventually, he reduced our $850 bill by one night of parking ($20). I find this absolutely inadequate for someone looking for relaxation at a hotel property. This nuisance severely affected the overall stay for us, having come to the island with a 5 hour time difference and needing some rest. There was no Aloha spirit here at all. I have added two photos showing how close the band was to our room. Also, the pool bar had a 3% up charge for credit card payments and they would not allow a charge to the room unless the amount of the bill exceeds a minimum amount of spend.

This Hotel is affordable luxury! Staff was attentive and answered all my questions about the island with care and respect and made the trip better than I could have imagined. The pool is comfortable, the location is close to a public beach park and many great restaurants.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is across the street from the beach, and there are dining options (including vegan ones) and snorkel stores within walking distance (you can rent chairs and umbrellas from the snorkel stores). They also have a free shuttle which will take you within 3 miles of the property, such as to the Wailea beaches or shopping. The concierge was very helpful in making recommendations for what to see. Lastly, I like their focus on environmentalism, with plentiful water bottle refilling stations.

Pool area was great, staff was amazing, but the convenient location paired with the option of the free Scooby Doo bus was incredible. What a great vacation that already has us looking to come back. I almost forgot, we asked our friends (Maui Residents for over 20 years) where to stay and they said, Maui Coast Hotel is the best. The buy in from the locals is always the way to go!
