We were not told to expect a room designed for handicap people. The shower temp was cold and never fixed. Plus the sliding doors to the bathroom allows for no privacy and there was no working fan in the bathroom. The cost of what I paid I would not return. On the day we left, we went to have breakfast and the eggs were ice cold. I probably won't return.

Newest hotel in Mattoon to my knowledge. Was very clean and staff was very polite. Room was spacious and loved being able to take my dogs and having a large field to walk them in. Will definitely be staying here again.

Thoughtful and smart room layout and design. Little touches that make the room traveler friendly. Check in and out was easy. Courteous and friendly staff. Only glitch was the room we were originally given was loud with adults and children in the hall, children jumping on furniture by the elevator and unleashed dog with the same party. However, we went back to the front desk and were given a room on another floor.

Great place to stay!

Room size was excellent. Bathroom quite roomy and well-lit. Roomy shower with ledges for my own products. The bed… although seems new, not comfortable. This is in every hotel room now. What has happened to hotel beds? Anyone else having this problem? Otherwise a clean hotel, friendly staff. Excellent area outside to walk a dog with plenty of sidewalks and open spaces for fetch.
