My reservation didnโ€™t include breakfast however I went down to the restaurant with intention to pay for it - only to be told it was โ€œsold outโ€ (while 1/2 the restaurant was empty). This happened three times in a row before I gave up. No explanation, no apology. I was traveling solo, so itโ€™s not like I would drain the buffet dry. Cleanliness is good and staff is friendly enough. Bed was super uncomfortable. Iโ€™d probably look at an alternative if I were to stay in Matsuyama again.
