The staff was very helpful. We did not realize that the hotel required you to leave your shoes downstairs because it was an all tatami hotel! That turned out to be fine and different. The onsen was very well maintained.

We arrived very early in the morning after a terrible bus ride and the hotel staff we so kind to let us check in early. We really needed the extra time, and it was so appreciated. The facilities are beautiful, and the onsen is the nicest I've seen. Really lovely stay.

A wonderful onsen hotel in the heart of downtown Matsue. Rooms have comfortable western beds and traditionally appointed amenities. The traditional onsen baths are a perfect way to end a day of sightseeing in Matsue
