Hello People, If you want to visit the Fukumankan in Mihonoseki, so you should have a car also! Its a small village, no conbini! Busses comes, but not so often. The food is 90% fish! You should love fish! A kind Familie does own and work in the Hotel, the experience was amazing ! You need maybe 2 days for the walkingway in the mountains and the village ! So enjoy the Fukumankan ! Big Thank you :)

事前連絡したところ、臨機応変に対応していただきました。周囲に食事できるような施設は無いので、一泊二食付で予約。夜のお刺身に大満足、朝のイカそうめんも甘い。煮魚も焼き魚も奇をてらったものではないし、他でも食べられるけど、美味しい。欲を言えば大浴場があると120点。温泉地ではないので仕方ないかな。

夕食をとらないでチェックインしたら、周囲にコンビニもレストランもカフェも皆無で、困惑しました。無理を言って宿で食事を作ってもらいましたが、メニューは海鮮丼のみ。行かれる方は、あらかじめ夕食つきのプランにするか、境港あたりで夕食をすませてからお出かけください。部屋は「離れ」で旅館から数百メートル離れた街中の空家をリフォームした二階建ての一軒家。それはそれで面白い経験でしたが、一人で泊まるにはちょっと持て余します。

伝統ある港町の旅館で過ごす

大変に伝統のある旅館で、エレベーターの到着時の揺れなど、古さは否めないが、できる限り手をかけて使っていこうという志を感じた。食事は朝夕共に十分すぎる量が出てきた。魚をたくさん食べたい方は、かなり満足できると思う。お値段から言って期待してなかったが、蟹も一人につき一杯出てきたし、またグループ毎に焼いた魚の頭が出てきたのは嬉しかった。古民家再生にも力を入れておられ、案内していただいて、興味深く見学することができた。海に面した部屋からの眺めは大変良く、他に娯楽がなくとも漁村の風情を眺めていると退屈せずに過ごせた。また隣にある神社も崇敬が厚く、興味のある方は朝夕のおつとめを見学されたら良いと思う。
