We love visiting this unique hotel. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The lido is spectacular. Our annexe room is spacious and has a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The addition of a fridge in the room was very welcome.

Look beyond carpets that need replacing & corridor decor in the rear of the hotel. Rooms were clean, bathrooms new, main entrance, reception & lounge were clean & renovated. Set in beautiful grounds, luscious greenery around excellent location, so close to Gulliver's Kingdom, very courteous & friendly staff, good enough selection for vegetarians at breakfast. As a family of 4, we loved it!

Very friendly staff and good service. The highlight was using the Lido. The lifeguard on duty was exceptional, she answered all our queries and provided support for me and my wife. Would definitely recommend the hotel and we look forward to going again.

We had an enjoyable stay in this very pleasant hotel. We did not take advantage of the spa facilities but we're told by other guest that they were excellent. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Sat in the garden area and had a pint it was quiet and relaxing, room was spotless and bar was clean and friendly. Took a dip in the pool which was surprisingly refreshing, staff all in all were very polite and very friendly. Only down side was when we booked in there was no real instruction because we was early we had to ask if we could use the bar and then find our way around to the pool area but all in all five stars and will be back

Staff were lovely. Breakfast was basic but edible. Pool looked great, but unfortunately it rained all week. We went to the spa which was nice but fairly basic- the hot tub was outside and would have benefited from handles to help getting in and out and the sun chairs were very low down so I couldn’t use them The rooms in the main building were fine, decorated nicely. We spent 2 extra nights in the annexe which was poorly maintained on the outside- peeling paint on wood etc.. the rooms themselves were nice inside despite this. The building was beautiful and so were the grounds. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
