We had an amazing stay at Villa Luisa! It is a beautiful property with plenty of room and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well stocked upon arrival. The view of Capri is outstanding! The hosts are truly the best part. Anna helped arrange several amazing adventures during our stay including a private car tour of the Amalfi Coast with Raffaele who was quite knowledgeable and gave us wonderful insights about the area and recommended a lunch restaurant that was truly spectacular. Anna also arranged a great all day boat tour to and around Capri and a visit to a local farm where they grow lemons and produce wine, olive oil and limoncello. Her daughter Sofy welcomed us on arrival and helped answer many questions throughout our stay. We had Luisa and her family cook us dinner the first night and it was truly authentic, delicious and plentiful. We had leftovers the following night which were just as good! Sofy also helped arrange free transport to a great restaurant (Il Cantuccio) which was a beautiful place to watch the sunset and had terrific food and service. The hosts were very guest focused and made every aspect of our stay truly memorable. We would highly recommend a stay at Villa Luisa!

Breathtaking Setting and ViewsDuring our stay at Villa Luisa, we were treated to exactly the experience we had hoped for. The outside patio, stretching the entire length of the first floor, allowed us to enjoy beautiful sunset views of Sorrento. As evening fell, the Island of Capri sparkled in the distance, creating a magical backdrop. Mornings on the balcony offered a peaceful scene of lush hills, with the town of Massa Lubrense nestled beside Sorrento and the shimmering waters between the coast and Capri.Comfortable and Well-Appointed AccommodationsThe master bedroom, located just off the spacious kitchen, was both comfortable and tastefully decorated. The en suite bathroom featured a unique large semi-circular design, complete with a luxurious shower, bath, and ample closet space. Upstairs, guests could enjoy another large bedroom, a smaller bedroom, two additional bathrooms, a sitting room, and patios with even more breathtaking views.Warm and Helpful HostsOur hosts, Luisa and her husband Mario, were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Their granddaughter Sophia managed our check-in, arranged transportation into town, and gladly offered excellent restaurant recommendations.Memorable Stay and Local HighlightsWe spent four nights at Villa Luisa, which passed all too quickly. Fantastic property in a beautiful location. Hosts were very welcoming and happy to help but equallly were not intrusive. View of Capri was stunning and it we enjoyed local walks as well as venturing further out to Sorrento, Capri and Pompeii. Local food, views and most of the weather (mild for late October) all great - highly recommend

Wonderful stay at Villa Luisa

Our stay was amazing at Villa Luisa. The villa had everything our family of five needed. Anna, Luisa and Mario were so helpful and respectful. We had a lovely stay. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable. Lots of space for 5 of us. We loved having the pool for a swim after a long day out. Luisa prepared a lovely meal for us one evening which fed us for a couple days. We arrived very late at night and Anna called the restaurant just up the road to see if we could get in for supper. It was just a short walk and we had such a great meal. We did return a couple times.

Perfect Villa near Sorrento

This villa will not disappoint. Beautiful home, perfect location, host will assist with excursions and transportation. Villa overlooks Capri and beautiful setting on mountains. Walking distance to some amazing restaurants and market. Host Luisa also made us dinner one night that was wonderful. Her daughter Anna can recommend places to go and see and always available for help. This is perfect for a family vacation in the quiet of the mountain yet close enough to enjoy the Amalfi Coast.

Our second time back, but it won’t be our last.

What’s there to say. We absolutely love Villa Luisa’s! The house is perfect for me, my husband, our 10 and 17 year old daughters. Large, spacious, incredible views, very well stocked, and Luisa, Anna and Sophie there to help with anything needed or just offer a kind hello. We took Signira Luisa up on her offer to make dinner for us the night we arrived, and it could not have been more amazing. She is an incredible cook! The meatballs were the best we’ve even had! The cake, incredible. Sitting outside, while the sunset over Capri in the distance, in this quiet, quaint little town of Massa Lubrense- I mean, it felt like a dream. We were able to do a load of clothes while we were there with no issue- they even had detergent for us to use. We didn’t rent a car, but they were so helpful in arranging both reservations and for a driver to take us to town for dinner one night. It was fantastic. Highly highly recommend! We’ll be back again for sure!

A great location with sea views. We utilised the pick- up options with some of our tours as we didn’t have a car. The bus timetables could be unreliable so it was great to be picked up and dropped off at the Villa. We did the Amafi coast boat tour and Capri trips that way from Marina della Lobra. Luisa, Sofia and Anna were wonderful.

Lovely quiet stay

This is a beautiful property in Massa Lubrense, about 20 minutes by car from Sorrento. It is very spacious and perfect for a family. The outdoor area is just lovely with a beautiful view of Capri. It is quiet and peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. We appreciated Sofia showing us around and Raffael taking my husband to the airport for his missing luggage. We enjoyed our meal at Cantuccio restaurant in Massa Lubrense.I highly recommend this beautiful home if you are looking for a peaceful location.

Amazing views, incredible villa

This villa was better than shown in the pictures. It is too hard to capture in a photo the tranquility of sitting on the stone porch listening to the birds, walking through the lemon & olive trees or watching the sun set over Capri in the distance. The house was well equipped & very comfortable. The hosts were very kind & helped us to make reservations at some amazing restaurants and recommended a fabulous cooking class. They even left us some homemade olive oil & limoncello - they were amazing! The villa is about 20 minutes from the main tourist area in Sorrento - close enough to amenities but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful vacation. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at Villa Luisa!

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Luisa. My husband and my two teenage children and I spent a few nights (we wish it were longer) at Villa Luisa. The owners were so helpful setting up a boat tour to Capri and dinner at a wonderful restaurant down the street. We also had a homemade meal by Luisa the first night we arrived. It is a gorgeous villa with everything one would want including amazing views. Large bathrooms, a great living room and a huge, well appointed kitchen all make this a great spot. The property is charming as well.Communication was easy and extremely helpful throughout our trip. This really is a wonderful property with delightful owners. We hope to return!

The villa was very clean and the sunsets over Capri are spectacular!!! Anna took care of all our needs from transportation to dining recommendations. We even had an authentic, tasty dinner upon arrival. Great homebase to explore Amalfi Coast and Sorrento. Bellissimo!!!!

Beautiful villa!

My husband and children (20's) stayed here for 3 days the last days of Sept. into Oct. We arrived at 2 pm from Rome, took one look at the villa and decided we were spending the rest of the day on the terrace. It was perfect! A much needed respite after our time in Rome. Anna is an amazing hostess. The reviews are all correct - she is an expert at arranging tours, taxis, reservations, etc. We ate at a Michelin star restaurant 100 meters away. We should have gone back the next night but didn't. We took advantage of a homecooked meal on our arrival night, and it did not disappoint. We ate the leftovers on our last night at the villa. The villa itself is as lovely on the inside as the outside (which, again, is stunning). My husband and I loved having double sinks in the bathroom after the closet of a bathroom we shared in Rome. I would stay here and rest for days if I could. You do need to allow for travel time to Sorrento to go anywhere on the Amalfi Coast, as it was a 40 minute drive. Villa Luisa was the highlight of our trip to Italy!

We couldn't have loved our stay more! Anna, Luisa and Sophie were incredibly helpful in every way from booking excursions, dinner reservations and overall recommendations for the area. They helped us with drivers who were amazing...thank you Roberta & Salvatore! The home was absolutely beautiful with views from the deck that were breathtaking! Fabulous Family Villa

We stayed at Villa Luisa with three teenagers. The property was pristine and exactly as described. Anna and Luisa were welcoming and responsive. Anna set up airport transfers and drivers as needed. The property was peaceful, yet accessible to the area. The villa is an easy walk to La Torre restaurant. We enjoyed the pool every afternoon. We rented a car, but driving is pretty intense. If you do not have a car just be prepared to spend $40-50 for a ride to Sorrento. Recommend visiting the marina and eating at Angelo’s. We took two boat tours out of Marina Lobra which provided taxi service. Highly recommend Villa Luisa!!

Perfect Ending

We concluded our two weeks in Italy with four great days in the Sorrento area. This property is about 15 minutes outside of Sorrento. The property and owners were fabulous. The views of Capri could never grow old. A/C worked great. The property is spacious and comfortable. Getting around is about of is a bit of a challenge.. bus is not too far and inexpensive.. car / taxi are expensive €70 at night to Sorrento.. but the pool was a great benefit .. kitchen well equipped. All in all a great place to be !

A stones throw away

My family (husband and 2 college kids) spent a week here. It has a beautiful view and is the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Mama Louisa really takes pride in keeping her place clean. Unfortunately we did not get to spend as much time here as I would have liked because there was a rare, freak, water main break in a town far away which left us without water for two days. While this was a huge inconvenience because this was the time we had chosen to do our laundry, the hosts tried their best to make things comfortable for us. We were not the only ones uncomfortable, restaurants could not open and the water main break shut down the entire island of Capri so we were thankful to have a clean place to stay. Many people had vacations ruined because of the situation. We just went to Sorrento and spent the day because that city had water. Since our time at the house was cut short, I we will just have to return in order to really enjoy the property and the hosts. Anna went out of her way to make sure I checked everything off my bucket list, cooking classes, lemon tours, a private boat tour around Capri, Almalfi coast tour and a private driver to and from Naples. She was the best and I really mean the best. I was probably a little too high maintenance for her, but she never complained. The hosts take great pride in the plants outside and the grounds. The rooms were air conditioned and clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Did I mention the view? SPECTACULAR!

Absolutely Beautiful

Villa Luisa is a little slice of heaven tucked away in the splendor of Italy. Our family of four immediately felt welcomed and at ease. We absolutely loved that our hosts were close by to offer local guidance and support, while also allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our time in the area. Check in was smooth, and we were greeted with welcome goodies (homemade olive oil, yes, please!). The pictures do not do this place justice and we wish that we could have stayed longer.
