"Breakfast was awesome--very large buffet of excellent choices. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly, with front desk giving tourist info and speaking fluent English. Two downsides: the bathroom, as mentioned in other reviews, is quirky. The shower is on the wall above the toilet, with no shower curtain or shower enclosure. It's a tiny bathroom that IS the shower enclosure. It works, but it's weird. The other downside, which we knew going in, was that it's a bit of a walk to the downtown. Meaning half an hour of walking very steep and long downhill, and then steep and long uphill. Just the nature of the geography. The hotel is great, the scenery is beautiful! We would stay again."

"Great property and host! I really recomand it for people who have a car. It is 5-10 mins drive from Veliko Tarnovo. It is on a hill with beautiful view and it has a nice entrance with roses and a garden where you can relax. Very quiet as well. Parking is just outside the gate. Great option for visiting the city and fortress without staying in the city."
