My husband and I visited in celebration of his 40th birthday and we were there two nights at the beginning of December. If you love Christmas like I do, coming during the month of December means you get to see the inn decked out in all its beautiful Christmas finery! LOVED the decorations throughout the communal spaces. The tavern and restaurant on site are wonderful, and the food was DELICIOUS. The staff was nothing but welcoming and warm and the epitome of small-town charm. Everyone we met were friendly and kind. We're already talking about when we'll visit again. Only downside of our king-sized suite in the historic inn was the sink drained very slowly. I let the front-desk staff know on our way out so it could be fixed for the next guest in the space. Other than that, the suite was lovely and perfect for our stay. One last thing: so much is within walking distance from the Country Inn. Many restaurants, coffee houses, shops, the Berkeley Springs State Park and the bath houses. We walked everywhere and most places we got to in 7 minutes or less. That close in proximity.

We stayed 4 nights during the week of Thanksgiving 2025 in the West Inn. Double bed room, well appointed and very comfortable. Enjoyed the fireplaces, coffee and tea service and the 24 hour front desk personnel were exceptional. Likewise, eating in the tavern and dining room were pleasant experiences.The Thanksgiving buffet was an abundant enjoyable holiday feast and we look forward to returning!

The room was clean. The fixtures are slightly dated- no usb plug-ins. Bathroom was too small - the door barely clears swinging into the toilet. The shower and tile was new and excellent. The hotel buildings need a lot of exterior repair- rotten roof eves. Exterior electrical wires and a/c Hoses sloppily drape the exterior

We stayed in the West Inn section of the hotel and it was wonderful. Our room was spacious with 2 queen beds and everything was spotless. We also had a few drinks in the bar and the service was great and drinks were delicious. We had breakfast at the restaurant which was very good as well. We did not eat at the restaurant for other meals but the menu seemed to have a good variety of options. This hotel is within walking distance of many shops and other restaurants as well. One thing to note is that alot of places are closed Mondays, so plan accordingly! Overall this was a great place to stay. Cute town with alot of history!

My family liked the hotel very much. Very convenient if visiting the Berkeley Springs hot water baths at the state park. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was just okay. Next time will try other restaurants in the area. We could not stay for the breakfast. Anyway the breakfast was not included in your hotel room rate. Friendly staff. We will visit again.

We stayed in the historic inn which was very convenient since it was cold and raining outside. I had made dinner reservations before we arrived. The food was excellent. We were seated at a table close to the door. It was somewhat unnerving because we could hear the restaurant's dinner music and the bar's music playing different songs at the same time.
