A place I would suggest to family!

The place is a bit difficult to find but once you do it is great. The room is as described - clean bright and airy. The bed is super comfortable. The bathroom is probably the best and largest we have had in over 30 trips to Italy. The host suggested La Tavernetta restaurant in Martina Franca and it was outstanding.

Attenzione per l’ospite .. questa sconosciuta!

Non posso giudicare l’abitazione semplicemente perché non ci ho soggiornato, il proprietario ha pensato bene di rivendere la stanza senza avvisarmi! Avevo una camera prenotata con voucher di soggiorno in mio possesso, pagamento all’arrivo previsto dal proprietario. Bene, non faccio caso all’orario del check-in che risultava possibile fino alle 18… ero con degli amici al mare e sarei arrivato intorno alle 20 ma, chiamando il proprietario perché la mappa inserita su Hotels.com non mi ha condotto dinanzi l’immobile… e scopro di non avere più la camera, era stata venduta senza neppure avvisarmi…. Ora, comprendo che posso aver sbagliato non leggendo con attenzione gli orari del check-in… ma non mi è mai capitato di vivere questa disattenzione all’ospite! Avrei potuto avere un contrattempo o semplicemente essere in ritardo, il proprietario ha tutti i dati di contatto dell’ospite, una telefonata per sapere le motivazioni del mancato arrivo entro le 18 ci avrebbero consentito di chiarire le motivazioni del mio ritardo ed avremmo putito concordare l’orario (anche pagando penale) ma, laddove non fosse stato possibile avrei anche accettato la cancellazione e mi sarei adoperato per trovare altra sistemazione… ma così no, non è assolutamente corretto. Con fatica e pagando il doppio a 40 minuti di auto ho trovato altro alloggio! Mi sarei evitato di arrivare fino a martina franca dal Salento sapendolo prima.

Durante la nostra vacanza in Puglia abbiamo soggiornato una notte nel bed and breakfast, la camera era molto spaziosa, pulita e il gestore ci ha accolto con molta gentilezza. La posizione del B&B è strategica per poter visitare città quali Ostuni, Alberobello, Locorotondo e la stessa Martina Franca.

RUDE

i booked a room and I was not accepted and treated very badly by the reception staff. He told me agressively that there was no room available for me and that I should not have used hotels.com to reserve without checking with them first... I ended up driving 2 hours to another town to find an hotel.
