Located in a quaint, tiny mountain town that is fighting back after being decimated by last year’s hurricane, Old Marshall Jail Hotel is a hidden gem. Despite the downstairs, including the currently closed restaurant, being under major reconstruction, the second floor and our room was perfect. Combining rustic, old world charm and history with modern design elements, the river view room was incredible. The owner’s own pottery was a highlight. Can’t wait to return for a longer stay when the hotel is fully rebuilt.

Unique property created out of a former county jail. Good bar & eatery downstairs, river side dinng adds to the ambience. Only issue I have is the lack of communication when checking out, we had no idea if we checked out properly!
