Room needed a thorough cleaning. Area under the beds had dust and tissues, wrappers, etc. There was no smoke alarm. It had been removed from its base on the wall. It was a Friday night. Teens were running down the hall until 1:30 in the morning. My husband tried to call the front dest but the land line telephone didn't work.

The room was good. An older place so the walls were a little thin. Comfortable bed. Associated restaurant was good and the free breakfast had scrambled eggs with cheese and spices. Tasty. George the breakfast attendant was very good, replenishing eggs and sausage.

Online photos didn’t show some of the rougher sides to the room. Most doors you have to either shut hard or slam in order to fully close, which is very loud at night. Staff was fantastic and very helpful

Rooms facing the pool have a musty distinct smell, had to move twice due to my family’s allergies acting up… 1st room was so bad and the ac wasn’t working literally had to go buy some supplies to make the room tolerable but to no avail. 2nd room smelled a little better but still has the same musty smell, the ceiling tiles near to the entry way were failing because they were swollen with the humidity present in the room due to the pool, had to move again because the water was not draining from the tub when I wanted to shower. 3rd room was significantly better with the room facing the street away from the pool on the 2nd floor. Breakfast options were limited but adequate to the type of hotel and pretty much all the food in the restaurant at the attached hotel was very salty, your best bet is the pizza which was actually good.

George in the breakfast area is amazing 👏 His hospitality would be the only reason to return to this location. The hotel itself is not so amazing. It needs to be updated and deep cleaned. We stayed in late July and the AC did not work, the rooms were so humid that the beds and floor were wet. No fans in the bathroom to help with air flow. Empty conditioner in the shower. We had a poolside room, the pool was supposed to close at 10pm, although it was not enforced and people were up until 1am in the pool screaming. The representative at the front desk offered to refund us money due to the lack of AC and no other available rooms, but due to booking with expedia she said she couldnt do anything for us.
