The room was clean and I expected it to be small. The location was convenient and the price was low. There were shops and restaurants nearby.But I have to rant a bit.I didn't expect that the window you see in the photo is at ground level of some kind of a crumbling courtyard and there is no window covering.I didn't expect the fold out bed to have so many broken slats.Checkin instructions were only offered in WhatsApp because the host thinks the VRBO system is glitchy, and consisted of images with embedded French text which was a real pain to translate. Even with the instructions it was hard to find the place because the address doesn't exactly match.If you arrive from the nearest Metro station the neighborhood looks pretty good. If you let google maps take you through the back streets you will see things you don't want to see - street users passing needles and stumbling into traffic.So make an informed decision.

This is a very small area. 10x8 at best. crammed into this area is bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, sitting area? It does have the amenities. Good for one, not 2 for sure, unless you have no baggage. No view, unless you count the window looking into other walls. I am sorry, might be for someone else but not me.

COMPACT BUT WELL-MAINTAINED PLACE IN GREAT LOCATION

Ideal for those looking for a place to sleep overnight for their short stay in Marseille. The walk to the Vieux Port area is very safe and pleasant. Also within an easy walking distance to the grand station. We also appreciated the host for providing us with all the details about check-in with visual aids, which was very helpful :). Thank you!

Great for what I needed

They have done a lot with the space! It worked out well as I needed a little place to stay before joining friends. I think it would be too small to share, even with a partner, for me.
