Welcome to the Wolf Den! Why rent a home in the NC mountains without GREAT views? Our 3 story home is new to the rental market. With 4 bedrooms & 4 baths this mountain home sleeps 8 to 10, in the private Country Club gated community of Wolf Laurel. We are situated at a 5000 ft elevation with spectacular 60-mile views of the valleys below... and to the mountain range beyond.

Recently remodeled, our home has an open floor-plan with high vaulted ceilings. Each room has an amazing view of the mountain range. There are large wood decks where gathering to socialize is perfect, enjoying alfresco dinners or just curling up with a snuggly throw and reading a great book - is truly what a mountain escape should be! We stock a large library of books, puzzles, games for your enjoyment, and a regulation pool table!

This is a perfect spot for a gathering of friends, family reunion, golfing buddies, board of directors corporate retreat, or even a small wedding venue. (On our same street there are 2 other VRBO host homes for extra guests) The possibilities are endless!

From May 1st through October 31, you may have access to the Wolf Laurel Country Club amenities because we are members of the Country Club here. Amenities available to you through the "tenant access" program include a world-class golf course, exercise facility, and the award-winning restaurant & bar. Simply make arrangements with us and reservations at the club in advance of your arrival 828-680-9772, and pay using your own credit card.

There is also complimentary use of the tennis courts, pickleball, outdoor heated swimming pool, community pavilion and Nature Walks (the Appalachian Trail entrance is within a half mile walk or easy drive), to enjoy with family and friends! With downtown Asheville a quick 35 minute drive, you can enjoy many additional great restaurants, shops and art galleries while you visit. The Biltmore Estate & Gardens is located within Asheville as well, and is truly worth a day visit.

Grocery shopping is available at Wolf Provisions (a small quaint store half-way down the mountain, or at Ingles (a large grocery store in Mars Hill 18 minutes down the mountain off I-26 at the Mars Hill exit). We often stop at Ingles on the way up and shop for what we think we will want for a day or two to start our vacation!
