Staying at Riad Hafssa offered an authentic glimpse into life within the Old City, with the property’s location serving as a great base for exploring local markets and fresh produce stalls. While the staff was approachable and helpful—eventually rectifying our room allocation so we could stay on the same floor—there were several aspects that fell short of expectations. The "pool" is remarkably small, roughly the size of a two cot beds, and the breakfast was a disappointment; despite the listing showing eggs and croissants, the actual spread was a "hit or miss" selection of local items, and it took three days of persistent requesting before eggs were provided. Prospective guests should also note that parking is located at an external lot a few minutes away for 70 MAD per day, and navigating the area via Google Maps is notoriously difficult without local knowledge. Our biggest frustration, however, occurred at checkout when we were charged 30 MAD for a bottle of water without prior notice — a significant markup considering a six-pack of bottles costs less than 10 MAD at a nearby shop.

The area around the hotel is really unique and fun to explore. The only downside is that you have to walk everywhere since other transportation options are limited. The rooms are clean but very small, and there aren’t many dining options nearby. It’s a nice place overall if you don’t mind a bit of walking and smaller rooms.

The property was fine - medium grades. The problem was staff - we did not feel safe. We arrived late at night subject to a shakedown from young men who had guided us a max of 30 yards around corner to hotel entrance snd then demanded vast money sum. We offered a tip and they refused - and threatened to harm our car of we did not pay what they wanted. Hotel staff person at chech not only did not help - he got in on it. He became a negotiator asking us to up the price we were willing to oay for someone guiding us around the corner. That scared us deeply as any sense of being protected by the hotel disappeared. We cut out visit short by one day and did not trust or accept any offerings from the hotel during our stay. I dont think Wxoedia should do business with a hotel that is willing to compromise the safety of guests or at minimum is employing staff that are willing to do so. That said - this was an outlier bad experience. Most people in Marocco and at hotels were extremely fruendly snd kind. After our shocking check in experience at this hotel we went into the Medina where most places were closing. We found a street vendor who was still open. He was extremely excited to see us, had the hugest smile and best food. Out of nowhere a table and chairs materialized, and we were treated like royalty to a simple and really delicious meal with mint tea. It healed my soul much more than my stomach and restored my faith in Morocco snd its people. We choose to remember this part.

The most like about property is near by of some attraction and staff is very nice each individual. But not like about property is very noisy and small market out side where vendors selling fruit & veg. Otherwise staff is good with traditional breakfast include.

Hors mis le personnel du petit dĂ©jeuner trĂšs sympa le reste nul . Pas trĂšs propre dans un quartier puant malsain ( mais c’est pareil’partout dans la mĂ©dina de Marrakech. Ont manque d’ĂȘtre accrochĂ© toutes les 10 secondes par des motos ,des vĂ©los,des voitures camions
.tellement ils n’en ont rien Ă  faire des gens) une chambre sans fenĂȘtres une salle de bain de 1,5 mĂštre carrĂ© .le petit dĂ©jeuner ont le prend dehors Ă  cette Ă©poque a 9 h du matin fait pas trĂšs chaud . Bref plus jamais ( Marrakech en gĂ©nĂ©ral)

Fujam dessa acomodação. Não é segura!

PĂ©ssima estadia. Inicialmente parecia correr tudo bem para minha estadia de 5 noites, atĂ© perceber a cilada. Os atendentes (falsamente cordiais) sĂŁo os proprietĂĄrios do hotel e fazem de tudo para que vocĂȘ compre passeios com agentes parceiros. Informei que jĂĄ havia marcado todos os meus passeios com antecedĂȘncia, mesmo assim sĂł liberaram o quarto apĂłs explicaçÔes desnecessĂĄrias do agente. Me colocaram em um quarto onde nĂŁo dava para abrir a porta ou sequer a mala com facilidade, alĂ©m do pĂ©ssimo cheiro de mofo. NĂŁo condizia com as fotos do anĂșncio. Pedi para mudar de quarto e informaram que estavam cheios (nĂŁo era verdade). Informei na recepção que o que estava acontecendo nĂŁo era correto e que iria reportar a propriedade ao HotĂ©is.com pela falsa propaganda. Ofereceram um drink no dia seguinte como “pedido de desculpas” e acabei pedindo apenas um suco de laranja. Depois de tomar quase metade, comecei a ficar um pouco sonolento. Sim, colocaram algo ilĂ­cito no suco. Por sorte consegui reverter a situação me hidratando. ApĂłs a terceira noite fui embora da hospedagem por nĂŁo me sentir mais seguro no local! Simplesmente inaceitĂĄvel

Le Riad est magnifique, calme et trĂšs bien tenu. Le personnel est accueillant, serviable et dĂ©diĂ©. Le quartier est authentique avec ce que ça implique de choc culturel pour le voyageur occidental qui dĂ©barque dans un pays comme le Maroc. Nous n’avons jamais senti d’hostilitĂ© ou Ă©prouve de sentiments d’insĂ©curitĂ©. Nous nous sentions chez nous Ă  ce Riad. Tout a Ă©tĂ© mis en Ɠuvre pour nous satisfaire et rendre notre sĂ©jour plaisant. Nous y retournerons avec joie Ă  notre prochaine visite au Maroc.

Notre sĂ©jour au Riad Lalla Zineb a Ă©tĂ© marquĂ© par plusieurs aspects Ă  prendre en compte avant de rĂ©server. Tout d’abord, les chambres sont petites, mais cela pourrait convenir Ă  des voyageurs recherchant un espace minimaliste. Cependant, l’emplacement du riad n’est pas idĂ©al pour deux femmes voyageant seules. AprĂšs plus de dix jours passĂ©s au Maroc sans problĂšme, c’est la premiĂšre fois que nous nous sommes senties en insĂ©curitĂ© en marchant dans les rues environnantes. MĂȘme les propriĂ©taires et le gĂ©rant nous ont suggĂ©rĂ© d’ĂȘtre accompagnĂ©es pour circuler dans les souks, ce qui en dit long sur l’environnement. Un autre point Ă  considĂ©rer : l’accĂšs au riad. Si vous voyagez avec de grosses valises, prĂ©parez-vous Ă  marcher environ sept minutes en les transportant, car aucun vĂ©hicule ne peut vous dĂ©poser directement devant. De plus, si vous rĂ©servez des activitĂ©s, sachez que les prestataires ne viendront pas vous chercher devant le riad, ce qui peut ĂȘtre contraignant. En raison de notre inconfort et du sentiment d’insĂ©curitĂ©, nous avons dĂ©cidĂ© de changer d’hĂŽtel. Nous avons demandĂ© un remboursement, mais celui-ci a Ă©tĂ© refusĂ© par la direction du riad. En toute transparence, si vous recherchez une expĂ©rience sereine et sans contraintes, nous vous conseillons fortement d’opter pour un hĂŽtel mieux situĂ© et offrant plus de sĂ©curitĂ©.
