The bed was clean but the room was in poor condition, the window safety tie was broken and the window could not be shut properly, the end curtain hooks were missing so curtain did not hang properly.
The bathroom was disgusting, the sink was cracked in three places , the shower tiles/ mosaic were not very clean and the grout dirty, not that we used the shower because of the state. The paint work had seen better days, and the door frame had been worn, broken or rotted away at the base where it met the flower. It was definitely a third rate room.
The saving grace for our visit to the Ibis Marrakech were the staff, they were polite, friendly and efficient. We ate dinner there and the dining room ambiance was oppressive, dark , dingy and far too large a room for the number of dinners, we two . The food was fine, as was the service .
